Welcome to IKE Box Concerts! We have been offering a variety of live music in Downtown Salem for over 6 years, since December of 2004! We have been host to countless great local bands in those 6 years, and we’ve been ahumble yet often times favorite stop for touring bands from all over the nation!
Live music at IKE Box is one of the ways in which our building offers [space] to those in the community that might need some [space]. We have a venue for live music, but there is a hierarchy to what we do, and it’s always in reflection of the mission of Isaac’s Room & IKE Quest. Our stage is located in a 120 year old beautifully restored ballroom that was originally used as a funeral home. Its angelic & eternal-like atmosphere creates a haunting, yet delightfully concentrated setting that enhances the experience of almost any type of music.
For us, the purpose of hosting live music is to initiate and contribute to the health of Salem’s local music scene. The main priority of IKE Concerts is to help our Salem local musicians grow, thrive and learn the essentials of creating their art effectively and to their desired satisfaction. Additionally, we have contributed to the Salem music scene by inviting & hosting some of the best talent in the Northwest, including such amazing artists as;Portugal. The Man, David Bazan, The Helio Sequence, Damien Jurado, Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band, The Builders & The Butchers, Typhoon, Gosling, etc.
